Information for Corporate Partners
How can I engage with the Human Resource Management program?
Baylor has offered a BBA in Human Resource Management since 1985. Our curriculum is industry-informed, hands-on and aligns with SHRM's guidelines. All students take courses in talent acquisition, employee and labor relations, compensation and benefits management, and strategic HR and analytics. Many students also choose to take employment law, training and development, and negotiation and conflict resolution courses.
- Sponsor a student scholarship to attend the HR Southwest conference
- Partner with our professors to develop a class project at your company
- Become a mentor for one of our students
- Visit as a guest speaker at a student SHRM chapter meeting
- Schedule on-campus interviews specifically with our HRM students for your internship or job opening
- Network with students at our Fall Meet & Greet or People Day at Hankamer
- Host a site visit at your company
There are many other ways our corporate partners can also get involved. Reach out to Sara Perry to discuss your ideas.
BAHR-Alumni connection opportunities
You can now connect with Baylor alumni and current students through our local events around Texas and through virtual alumni connection events! So far we have formed groups in Dallas-Ft. Worth and Houston, with more to come. To be added to the mailing list for any of these local groups, to volunteer to help plan an event in your city, and/or to join the mailing list for virtual gatherings, please send an email with your specific request to hrm@baylor.edu.
